Clachnacuddin eased to the semi-final of the Breedon Aggregates Highland League Cup, thrashing Rothes by a seven-goal margin for the second time this season.
Clach took the lead on 20 minutes when Paul Brindle walked through the Rothes defence from the left and blasted into the top right corner past Ricky Horne.
The lead was doubled five minutes before the break, with Blair Lawrie again strolling through the defence with a bit of skill, with his shot taking the slightest of touches off a defender's outstretched leg to take it past Horne.
One minute prior to half-time it was 3-0, when Struan Scott-Woodhouse was given far too much space in the box, to slot the ball into the corner.
The Speysiders went further behind ten minutes after the break, when a cross came in from the left-hand side there was nothing unfortunate Rothes defender Michael Dunn could do but head the ball into his own net.
Substitute Ross Grant added a fifth goal for the home side, then with ten minutes left, Paul Brindle scored his second with a curling shot into the corner.
Paul Brindle then completed his hat-trick with a free-kick 25 yards away from goal, with Dachi Khutsishvili laying the ball off to Brindle to strike it low, and although Horne got a touch the shot was too powerful for him to keep it out.
Full-time: Clachnacuddin 7-0 Rothes
