Highland League legends will pull on the boots again at the home of Formartine, this Sunday, in the “Toonsers vs Teuchters” charity game in aid of Maggies Cancer Centre.
Ex-stars from various clubs from the HFL will be in action, some for the first time in a while.
Old rivalries will be resumed, however the day is centred around helping raise money and awareness for Maggies Care Centre.
Maggies is a care and support centre for cancer sufferers and their families based in Aberdeen.
The support they offer is both unique and hugely valuable to those who are both directly and indirectly affected by cancer.
The game will feature the likes of Mark Perry, Darren Still, Jerry O’Driscoll, Barry Thompson, Billy Gordon and Derek Milne.
Also there will be some more recognised faces from the past HFL season with managers Kris Hunter, Allan Hale and Mark Cowie.
Current playing talent such as Roy McBain, Russell McBride and Ryan Christie will be making an appearance.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm on Sunday 30th April, at North Lodge Park, Pitmedden.
