Fort William and Wick Academy shared the points at Claggan Park, with a goal apiece exchanged each side of half-time.
Fort had the first effort with just ten minutes played, as James Mackay's corner from the left was met by Iain MacLellan's near post header which drifted just past the post. Two minutes later, Fort's Willie Gemmell was lucky to stay on the park, when he was booked for pushing over Sam Mackay.
On the quarter hour mark a corner by Wick's Richard Macadie eventually fell to feet of Michael Steven, who fired over from 12 yards.
Six minutes later it took a brilliant save from Robin Harvey to deny Sam Mackay, who was clean through on goal after being set up brilliantly by Gary Weir.
On 34 minutes, flighted free-kick by Gemmell into the box was caught by James More at full stretch. However, the opening goal came in the second minute of first-half stoppage time. A Sam Mackay effort was blocked by the hand of Iain Foggo, and Richard Macadie stepped up to fire the ball low into Harvey's right-hand side.
Fort did not dwell on the conceded goal at the start of the second-half, and equalised within four minutes of the restart. A long ball forward from defence was nodded down by Duncan Campbell, into the path of James Mackay who drilled the ball low into the right-hand corner from 25 yards.
On 57 minutes MacLellan fired the ball just wide from 25 yards, and three minutes later another brilliant save by Harvey denied Macadie with a point-blank header.
The final chance of the match fell to James Pickles five minutes from time, but the Orcadian drilled over from 12 yards. However, a minute into stoppage time Fort were reduced to ten men. Andy Martin had been booked in the first-half for kicking the ball away, but received his second yellow card for bringing down Weir on the left flank.
