Highland League

Clach v Nairn County

Clach take on local rivals Nairn at Grant Street and the home side will be aiming to close the six-point gap on their opponents in the table. Michael Finnis misses out through suspension, while Ian Penwright (back) and Dougie Maclennan (nose) are both injured. Paul Smith and James Beeston are also unavailable for the Inverness men.
New signing from Clach Liam Shewan is unavailable for Nairn and won’t feature against his former side, while Adam Porritt is suspended. Fraser Dingwall is away on holiday, and Gregg Main and Seamus McConaghy remain on the injury list.

Cove Rangers v Huntly

Cove end a superb 2018 against Huntly at Balmoral Stadium, and the Aberdeen side will aim for a repeat of the comprehensive League Cup victory gained over Huntly just three weeks ago.

The visitors will be without Alex Thoirs and Craig Reid, with Gary McGowan also a big doubt. Cammy Booth is available again and returns to the squad.

Forres Mechanics v Deveronvale

Lee Fraser and Craig McGovern are the only absentees for Forres as they take on Deveronvale at Mosset Park.

Dane Ballard, Liam Forbes and Steven Davidson remain out for ‘Vale, who recorded an excellent comeback win over Wick last weekend. Harry Noble, Kyle Gauld, Graeme Watt and Robbie Allan are also doubtful and will face late fitness tests. Kyle Willox returns to the squad.

Fraserburgh v Lossiemouth

Fraserburgh take on Lossie at Bellslea and they have several players missing through injury, including Gary Harris, Ryan Christie, Michael Rae, Willie West and Jamie Beagrie.

Aaron Hamilton is unavailable for the visitors, while Stewart Black and Scott Campbell are out through suspension. The rest of the squad are fit and available.

Keith v Buckie Thistle

Keith are in decent form for the visit of Buckie to Kynoch Park, with only one defeat in their last five league outings.

Buckie remain without their long-term injury victims, and Craig Cowie is suspended. The Jags will be aiming to bounce back from recent home defeats to Cove, Brora and Formartine.

Rothes v Brora Rangers

Rothes boss Steven MacDonald has a full-strength squad to choose from for the visit of Brora to Mackessack Park. Martin MacDonald has returned to Clach.

Brora go into the game with the same squad that earned a vital win over title rivals Fraserburgh last weekend.

Strathspey Thistle v Turriff Utd

Strathspey take on Turriff at Seafield Park and the home side will look for their third win in four games to continue their rise up the league table.

Turriff are on a bad run that has seen them slip to 15th place in the table, but a victory today would take them above their opponents on goal difference.

Wick Academy v Formartine Utd

Wick are without Andy Hardwick, Grant Steven, Ross Allan through injury for the visit of Formartine to Harmsworth Park.

Formartine continued their excellent league form with their fourth win of the season over local rivals Locos last time out, and a victory today could take them as high as second if other results go their way.
