Turriff United bounced back from their Aberdeenshire Shield final defeat to Inverurie Locos in midweek, by inflicting a 3-1 defeat on Keith.
The first goal arrived for the visitors in the second minute. A corner from the right was floated into the box by former Maroon Andy MacAskill, finding the head of Cammy Bowden who fired it into the bottom left corner.
Turriff doubled their lead on 18 minutes. Paul Young received a pass from James Brownie, and the midfielder took one touch before his shot from outside the box found its way past Daniel Bell.
Keith pulled a goal back on 52 minutes. A mistake between two Turriff centre backs allowed Matthew McDonald in on goal. Keith's top scorer got round the keeper and with the help of a nick off an onrushing centre-back he guided the ball into the net.
Just minutes later, a Turriff corner was again floated in by MacAskill, and James Brownie took the ball down and volleyed it into the net amidst a scramble in the Keith box.
Full-time: Keith 1-3 Turriff United
