In the 44th minute Michael Ewen played the ball through to his strike partner Matthew McDonald and he fired a shot into the roof of the net for Keith’s second.
Half-time: Keith 2 Rothes 0
Fifty minutes in Stuart Massie got away from his man and curled a shot goalwards, but Ricky Horne denied him with a wonderful diving save. Fourteen minutes later Matthew McDonald squared the ball to Greg Smith and his shot hit Mackay and flew over Horne into the net.
In the 78th minute a ball was played across to Lewis MacKay and he found the net to give Rothes a way back into the match.
Keith soon responded and when Michael Ewen drove into the box, Ricky Horne took his feet away and the referee gave the home side a penalty and Horne a red card. Ewen stepped up and put the ball to Ferguson’s left with the keeper getting a touch but not keeping it out.
In the 4th minute of injury time Ewen received the ball near the by-line, crossed it into the box and Bruce Milne was there to head home Keith’s fifth of the afternoon.
