Wick Academy 0-2 Lossiemouth | Highland League Cup | Saturday 15th March 2014

Lossiemouth progressed to the second round of the Highland League Cup, after a 2-0 win away to Wick.

The Coasters had come closest in the first-half when Grant Steven cleared Ryan Farquhar's effort off the line.

However, the deadlock was broken after only five minutes of the second-half. Callum Dunbar slotted the ball through the Scorries defence, and Elliot Winters ran onto it and struck past keeper James More.

Wick's afternoon went from bad to worse when Sam Mackay was dismissed for his part in an altercation.

Lossie wrapped up a superb victory in injury time, when More brought down Scott Dunn in the penalty area, and Dunn stepped up to set up an away tie against Huntly in the Quarter-Final.
