A goal towards the end of each half saw Turriff record their second victory over the Jags this season.
After a relatively even first-half in wet conditions at Seafield Park, neither keeper was called into much action. However, five minutes before the break United took the lead courtesy of former Buckie Thistle striker Aaron Shand's neat finish.
Jags keeper Kyle Robertson was forced to make two fine saves to deny visitors, however Turriff grabbed their second late on through Gary Harris to ensure a third straight win for caretaker manager Mike McKenzie, and a clean sheet for debutant goalkeeper Greg Sim.
Full-time: Strathspey Thistle 0-2 Turriff United
