    Huntly and Nairn shared the spoils in entertaining draw at Christie Park, with all the goals coming in the first half. On the quarter hour mark Alexander Thoirs drove a cross low across the opposition box and it was sliced into his own net by Glenn Main.   • Sat 5th Sept – Huntly 0-0 Deveronvale

    Huntly and Deveronvale had to settle for a share of the points after a goal-less draw at Christie Park. The hosts welcomed back Craig Dorrat, Neale Allan and Alexander Thoirs after the trio missed the defeat at Wick, while Vale were unchanged from the side which held Turriff United to a draw the previous week. Four minutes into the game there were appeals for a penalty from the home side when midfielder Ian Cruickshank was tugged as he made a run into the opposition box.

    Huntly 2: Dean Donaldson (6 pen) and Adam McNamee (87) Inverurie Loco Works 1: Martin Laing (20) Huntly ended a run of eight home games without a victory  by securing their first win over Inverurie Loco Works since November 2009.     Strathspey Thistle made history with their first win at Christie Park running out two-nil winners over Huntly. Two minutes from the interval, Defender Gary Davidson was penalised for a handball outside the Huntly penalty area.     Strathspey and Huntly shared the spoils in a scrappy affair at Seafield Park. With both teams at the wrong end of the league table, plus a very windy day, they struggled to get the ball down and play passes and it was a game of very few chances.     Inverurie Loco Works produced a stunning comeback to win 3-2 after trailing by two goals at Christie Park.  Huntly took the lead on 36 minutes. Mark Lawson’s volleyed produced a fine save from Andrew Reid to turn the ball behind.
