    Keith carved out a victory over Fort William in terrible playing conditions at Kynoch Park thanks to a second-half goal from Kris Duncan. The first real chance fell to the away side as Scott MacLean whipped in a corner from the left-hand side which was helped by the wind and it almost went into the net. But keeper Daniel Bell reacted quickly to punch the ball over the crossbar.

  • Sat 14th Feb - Keith 2 Turriff Utd 7

    A hard working Keith team suffered a humiliating defeat for the second weekend in a row as a clinical Turriff United won 7-2.   A hat trick from Andy MacAskill, a double for Gary McGowan including a penalty and goals by Lewis Davidson and Craig MacAskill secured the travelling side a big victory to keep them top of the league table. Despite goals from the Maroons by Craig Cormack and Grant Mitchell, the hosts failed to get something out of this game.

    Inverurie Locos made it two wins on the trot in the space of five days against teams with new managers in charge. Scott Mathieson was again between the sticks while Gordon Forsyth took the place of unavailable Ryan Broadhurst in central defence.     Keith 5 Rothes 1Keith scored a convincing 5-1 win over Rothes at Kynoch Park, goals coming from Matthew McDonald (2), Greg Smith, Michael Ewen and Bruce Milne.In the 11th minute Michael Ewen found his way into the box but Ricky Horne was there to deny the striker, pushing the ball out for a corner.From that corner a long cross in to the box was headed out to Greg Smith, who played the ball into the box where Matthew McDonald lashed a shot past Horne to open the scoring.

    Turriff United bounced back from their Aberdeenshire Shield final defeat to Inverurie Locos in midweek, by inflicting a 3-1 defeat on Keith. The first goal arrived for the visitors in the second minute.     Keith ended their recent losing run and stayed above their opposition as they defeated Lossiemouth 3-1. The Coasters finished the match with 10 men in a match that served up a treat for the SHFLTV cameras who attended this game which featured three penalties and some great goals.
