Team news for matches on Sat 18th September

Scottish Cup First Round

Banks o' Dee v Turriff Utd

Junior cracks Banks o' Dee host Turriff United at Spain Park, and the home side will be full of confidence after taking several Highland League scalps in the Aberdeenshire Cup this season.

Turriff this week signed youngster Ebube Anyaegbunam on a three-year deal after some impressive performances for their development teams. The visitors took a good point at Forres last time out and will aim to build on that result today.

Blackburn Utd v Rothes

Rothes travel south to take on East of Scotland Premier League side Blackburn United. Greg Morrison, Gary Kerr, Wayne Macintosh, Sean Linden and Ewan Neil all miss out for the visitors.

Brechin City v Vale of Leithen

Brechin will be without St Johnstone loanees Jack Wills and Max Kucheriavyi for the visit of Lowland League Vale of Leithen to Glebe Park. Garry Wood is a doubt. Recent signing Kevin McHattie's debut is likely to be a number of weeks away.

Clach v Dunipace

Clach boss Jordan Macdonald has a full squad to choose from for their home tie against Dunipace. The visitors currently lie in fifth place in Conference A of the East of Scotland First Division.

Deveronvale v Haddington Athletic

Haddington Athletic are the visitors to Princess Royal Park to take on Deveronvale. They sit second in the same league as Clach's opponents Dunipace. Kevin Adams is struggling to be fit for Vale after picking up a knock in training. Rory Davidson is also doubtful, while Matty Jamieson remains out.

Formartine Utd v Cumnock

Formartine take on Ayrshire side Cumnock at North Lodge Park, the home side will aim to repeat last season's run to the Third Round, when they eventually lost to Premier League Motherwell.

Forres Mechanics v Bonnyrigg Rose

Craig Dorrat and Ross McPherson are suspended for Forres and miss the visit of Lowland League leaders Bonnyrigg Rose to Mosset Park. Joe Gauld (knee) and Gordon Mcnab (foot) are both out injured, while Graham Fraser has flu and will face a late fitness test.

Fraserburgh v Sauchie Juniors

Fraserburgh face East of Scotland Premier League opponents in the form of Sauchie Juniors at Bellslea. Logan Watt is out injured and is the only absentee for the Highland League leaders.
