Three first-half goals put Fraserburgh in firm command against Inverurie Loco Works in their final Bellslea game of the season, before the Broch clinched a result that puts them above Forres Mechanics into seventh place.
The game was only five minutes old when Broch took the lead, as Scott Barbour crossed into the box from the left flank, finding Courtney Cooper, and he found the net from 10 yards.

Fraserburgh leapfrogged Forres Mechanics to move into seventh place in the Press and Journal Highland League, with a 3-1 win over Inverurie Locos at the Bellslea. Courtney Cooper was on target either side of a Willie West goal in the first-half, with Locos replying through Kieron Adams. Cooper was denied a hat-trick when his penalty was saved by Andy Reid in the second period.

Turriff United won the Morrison Motors (Turriff) Aberdeenshire Shield for the second time, and in an emphatic style as they convincingly got the better of a young ten man Cove Rangers side at Harlaw Park, Inverurie
Kevin Tindal went into this game with the clear intention of ensuring his key players for the League decider at Formartine United on Saturday were not to be risked, but it was a side with much first team experience, Stirling Smith, Roddy Black, Ritchie Singer, Jamie Beagrie, Jordan Leyden and Ryan Stott all looking to push to be in Saturday’s line up.

Last night's Morrison Motors (Turriff) Aberdeenshire Shield cup final marked a second Shield victory in three seasons for Turriff United, as they overcame a below-strength Cove Rangers side, with sights on Saturday's league title showdown, by the impressive scoreline of 6-1.
There is now the chance to read what both sides made of the match, with John Innes and Andy Skinner on hand to obtain reaction from each camp.
