Inverurie Locos have announced Richard Hastings as their new first team manager.
Hastings has signed a three-year deal at Harlaw Park and will attend tomorrow evening's league match against Rothes, before taking charge of the side for the game against Fraserburgh at Bellslea Park on Saturday.
The new man in charge had an excellent playing career at club level, including three hundred and fifty eight appearances for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, as well as spells at Ross County and Hamilton Accies.
Formartine Utd v Nairn County
Formartine take on Nairn County at North Lodge Park, as they look for their fourth league win on the spin. The Pitmedden side produced a superb display to win comfortably at champions Brora last weekend.
Nairn were boosted by the return of former captain Adam Porritt to the club earlier this week, he is back in training after taking some time away from the game at the end of last season.
Fraserburgh v Brechin City
A top of the table clash at Bellslea sees second-placed Fraserburgh take on third-placed Brechin. Logan Watt is unavailable and is the only absentee for the Broch, who continued their one hundred percent start to the league campaign with a hard-fought win at Nairn last weekend. Club captain and Broch legend Ryan Christie hung up his boots after playing in the Aberdeenshire Cup victory over Aberdeen University, he will now run the Under-21 team.
City will be without full-back Jamie Bain, who will serve a two-match suspension following his red card against Rothes last weekend. On-loan Aberdeen youngster Jack Milne is also unavailable, with decisions to be made on the fitness of another couple of players ahead of the trip north. Manager Andy Kirk has bolstered his defensive options with the signing of Hamish Thomson from Tranent Juniors.
Fort William v Brora Rangers (Dudgeon Park)
Fort William have five players missing for the visit to Dudgeon Park to face champions Brora Rangers. Bradley Fangas and Joseph Kalbah are both included in the squad after joining the club this week. Connor Moore returns after missing the cup defeat to Lossiemouth in midweek.
Brora have a few players receiving treatment who they will make a late decision on. Ally Macdonald, Mathew Wright and Martin Maclean are all doubtful, while James Wallace remains out injured. Ali Sutherland is available again and returns to the squad.
Forres Mechanics v Clach
Forres face Clach at Mosset Park and they remain without the suspended Dale Wood, who has just two games remaining of his lengthy ban. Joe Gauld is out with a knee injury and Callum Johnston is unavailable. Robbie Duncanson, Lee Fraser and Graham Fraser return to the squad.
Clach recorded their first league win last weekend with victory over Strathspey, only to lose heavily to the same opponents in the North of Scotland Cup in midweek. Goalkeeper Martin Mackinnon joined the club on a short-term deal earlier this week and made his debut in the cup game on Wednesday night.
Huntly v Keith
It's derby day at Christie Park, where Huntly will aim to continue their unbeaten league start against local rivals Keith. Colin Charlesworth, Stuart Taylor, Liam MacDonald and Bradley Manson remain out injured, while a further three players are self-isolating.
New Keith manager Craig Ewen makes his debut in the visiting dugout and he’ll be without Scott Henry, Scott Gray, Jordan Robertson, Liam Duncan and James Brownie. Tom Andrews and Kian McReadie return to the squad after suspension.
