Highland League
Deveronvale v Brora Rangers
Deveronvale begin their league season with a visit from champions Brora Rangers. The home side will be without Colin Charlesworth, Kyle Willox and Matthew Wallace. Ryan Farquhar and Aaron Hamilton could make their league debuts for the Banff side.
Visitors Brora have almost a full squad available with the exception of defender Colin Williamson, who is out with a foot injury. Adam Mackinnon could make his debut for the Cattachs after joining on loan from Ross County.
Fort William v Strathspey Thistle
Fort William will have new manager Ashley Hollyer in charge for the first time when Strathspey visit Claggan Park. John Treasurer is out injured, but could return in a week or two. Former Caley Thistle youngster Jamie McConnell, Lennon Clark, Joe McBride and Gabriel Varinga could all make their league debuts, while former captain Iain Foggo has returned to the club and could also feature.
Strathspey could also hand debuts to two former Caley Thistle youngsters, Roddy Kennedy and Kieran Chalmers. Fellow new signings Liam McDaid, Ashley Ballam and Craig Mackenzie are also likely to be involved for the Grantown Jags.
Inverurie Locos v Keith
Locos kick off their campaign at home to Keith and they will be without the injured Jamie Michie (ribs) and Andy Watt (hamstring). Last season's Highland League joint top goalscorer Chris Angus left the club this month, and boss Andy Low will hope former Aberdeen youth player Kieran Shanks can fill the void left by Angus' departure.
Andy Roddie and Tommy Wilson took over as Co-Managers of Keith two weeks ago, after the resignation of Dean Donaldson last month. They have a fully fit squad to choose from for the short trip to Harlaw Park and could include loan signings Logan Watt and Liam Strachan.
Lossiemouth v Fraserburgh
Lossiemouth face a tough test against Fraserburgh at Grant Park in their league opener, with boss Joe Russell likely to hand debuts to Logan Ross, Jared Kennedy and Fergus Edwards. Martin Charlesworth could also feature after returning to his former stomping ground. Ross Elliott is very doubtful with an ankle injury and will have a late fitness test.
Fraserburgh won through to the semi finals of the Aberdeenshire Cup last weekend with a good win over Locos at Bellslea. Lewis Duncan is suspended after his red card in that encounter and Jamie Beagrie is offshore. Logan Watt has joined Keith on loan and Lewis Davidson misses out due to work commitments.
