Team News - Scottish Cup First Round

Brora Rangers v Turriff Utd

Brora meet Turriff at Dudgeon Park for the second time in three weeks, after The Cattachs went nap against United at the start of the month. Zander Sutherland, James Ross and Martin Maclean are all out injured and Ally Macdonald is unavailable.
United boss Kris Hunter has almost a full squad to choose from for the trip north, with the injured Cammy Bowden their only absentee.

Deveronvale v Bonnyrigg Rose

Deveronvale have a home clash with East of Scotland League side Bonnyrigg Rose, who beat Turriff United and Cove Rangers in a superb run to the Fourth Round last season.
Vale will remain without goalkeeper Grant Pennet and defender Liam Forbes for this one.

Edusport Academy v Buckie Thistle

Buckie make the long trip to Annan to face Edusport as they look to improve on last year's Third Round exit to Brechin City. Kevin Fraser, Hamish Munro, John McLeod, Sam Urquhart and Craig Cowie all remain out long term, while Drew Copeland (ankle), Craig Dorrat (groin) and Scott Adams (hamstring) also miss out through injury.

Forres Mechanics v Civil Service Strollers

Forres will be without Craig McGovern and Lee Fraser for the visit of Civil Service Strollers to Mosset Park. They also have a doubt over Graham Fraser with a head knock, while Stuart Soane and Stuart Knight will have late fitness tests, but are likely to play.

Gala Fairydean v Lossiemouth

Aaron Hamilton returns from injury for Lossiemouth as they travel to the Borders to face Gala. Aaron McLean and Kelvin McKenzie miss out for The Coasters.

Huntly v East Stirling

Paul Napier, Alex Thoirs and Ryan McRitchie return for Huntly for the visit of East Stirling to Christie Park. Glenn Murison misses out through suspension.

Linlithgow Rose v Fort William

Fort William are aiming to reach the Second Round of the Scottish Cup for the first time since 2015, when they travel to take on East of Scotland League side Linlithgow Rose.
Rose currently sit in sixth place in Conference C of the East of Scotland League, having stepped up from the Juniors this year.

Nairn County v Beith Juniors

Nairn face a home tie with Beith Juniors and the Highland side will hope to progress further than their Second Round exit last term.
Beith currently sit in fourth place in the West of Scotland Premiership and had an excellent run to the Third Round two years ago, including a six-goal win over Strathspey Thistle.

Rothes v Clachnacuddin

The second all-Highland League clash takes place at Mackessack Park, where Rothes meet Clach. Cammy Mackay is not eligible to play in the Scottish Cup for the home side, but Ali Sutherland comes in on loan from Elgin City to make his debut
Clach will be without Blair Lawrie, Paul Smith, Martin Callum, Steven Edwards, Rorie Macleod and Struan Macarthur. Sean Webb is available again and returns to the squad.

Strathspey Thistle v Coldstream

Strathspey take on Coldstream at Seafield Park and both sides will hope to improve on their early exits from last season’s competition.
The Grantown Jags will look to build on their first win of the season at Keith last weekend.

Wick Academy v Auchinleck Talbot

Wick take on crack Junior side Auchinleck Talbot at Harmsworth Park and they’ll be without Sam Mackay and Ross Allan.

Stirling University v Keith (Sunday)

Keith travel to face Stirling University on Sunday and they’re boosted by the return of Ryan Spink, Scott Begg, James Brownie and Bradley Manson. Michael Selfridge and Marc Young remain out injured for The Maroons.
