Forres v Clach cup tie to be played on Saturday

Following a request from the SHFL to help with fixture scheduling and the recent postponement of league games, results on Wednesday this week have left both Forres Mechanics and Clachnacuddin without a match this Saturday.

Therefore, their first round tie in this season's Menzies Distribution North Cup is now being played at Forres on Saturday 11th March with a 3pm kick off.

Audio Interviews: Stuart Duff positive about Locos progress

Inverurie enjoyed a fine 4-1 win over Clach, as recently-appointed manager Neil Cooper continues to work on improving his side.

Team news for Saturday 4th March

Brora Rangers v Formartine Utd
Match of the day is at Dudgeon Park, where Brora Rangers take on title rivals Formartine.  Joe Malin and Paul Brindle remain out injured for the home side, who could go four points clear at the top with a win today as Cove and Buckie are both idle.

The visitors will again be without injured captain Paul Lawson as they look for the win that would keep their title hopes alive.

Deveronvale v Keith
Deveronvale face Keith at Princess Royal Park and they will be without Graeme Watt, Scott Fraser, Zander Jack and Dan Smith. Chris Blackhall returns to the squad.

Keith have Michael Ralton, Michael Dunn, Ryan Spink, Ryan Keir, Donald Fraser and Andy Smith out injured. Bruce Raffell is on holiday and Frazer Hall has joined Maud on loan until the end of the season. Max Berton goes straight into the squad after joining the club on loan from Formartine until the end of the season.

Fort William v Lossiemouth
Fort William play Lossiemouth at Claggan Park as they mourn the loss of club legend David Macdonald, who sadly passed away this week.

Lossie have Joao Rodrigues unavailable and Scott Miller out with a shoulder injury.

Inverurie Locos v Clach
Locos take on Clach at Harlaw Park and will look for the win that would take them within three points of their opponents in the league table.

Clach travel without Struan Scott-Woodhouse, David McGurk, Martin Callum and Ryan MacDonald. Ryan Mackintosh returns to the squad.

Nairn County v Turriff Utd
Jack Mclean is suspended and misses the Turriff's second visit to Station Park in eight days. Dylan McLean and Paul McLeod are out injured, but Wayne Mackintosh, Gregg Main and Jordan Macrae are available again after suspension.

Lewis Davidson and Toto Vastano miss out for the visitors, who will look to repeat last weekend's excellent win over the Wee County.

Strathspey Thistle v Huntly
Matt Murphy and Sam Ross return to the Strathspey Thistle squad for the clash with Huntly at Seafield Park.

Ross Still, Paul Napier and Kieran Adams all miss out for the visitors through suspension, while Blair Johnston is available again. Martin MacDonald remains out long term.

Rothes and Wick cup tie to be played this Saturday

Following a request from the SHFL to help with fixture scheduling and given that results in matches left both Rothes and Wick Academy with a free Saturday, both clubs have agreed to play their First Round North of Scotland Cup tie this Saturday, with a 3pm kick off.
