Match previews: Wednesday 15th February

It's a big night of Highland League and Breedon Highland League Cup action tonight, with Brora Rangers and Cove Rangers both looking for wins to close the gap on league leaders Buckie Thistle.

Victory for both clubs would mean only a point would separate the top three in the table, but opponents Forres and Huntly are in fine form themselves and will provide a significant test on home soil.

Elsewhere, Lossiemouth host Wick Academy at Grant Park and both sides will be looking to bounce back from League Cup exits at the weekend. Victory for either side would lift them one place in the league table.

In the Breedon League Cup First Round, Clach take on Fort William at Grant Street, with the victors facing a trip to the winners of tonight's other First Round tie between Rothes and Formartine at Mackessack Park.

The Speysiders meanwhile have signed five youngsters on loan from Caley Thistle until the end of the season: defenders Ryan McRitchie, Chris Brown and Stephen Rennie, midfielder Struan McArthur and striker Keir Smith. Two of the quintet could make their debuts for the club tonight.
