Defender David Donald has signed a two-year deal with Huntly after he secured a release from Aberdeen amateur side Woodside.
The 29-year-old, who has played for Aberdeen, Peterhead and Formartine United, featured at right-back in the 5-2 win over Deveronvale.
Huntly co-manager Andy Roddie noted he was impressed his most recent acquisition.
He said: "David possesses a lot quality he’s been taught well through his career at Aberdeen, Peterhead and latterly Formartine. He lost a bit of appetite for the game but [co-manager] Tommy Wilson has been on at him for a while now and credit to Tommy he’s managed to pull off the deal.
"We played him against Deveronvale and he’s put in a great performance and that’s another quality signing for us."

Wick Academy have confirmed that Sean McCarthy, Sam Mackay, Davie Allan, Danny Mackay and Steven Anderson have all signed long term contract extensions with the club.
Academy chairman James Innes said: "We've signed extension deals with Sean McCarthy, midfield play-maker Sam Mackay, Davie Allan, ex-Brora Rangers and league title medal winner Danny Mackay and forward Steven Anderson, who along with Sam was in Dave Edwards' Highland League 2016 team of the year squad.
This will be Sam's second extension since he joined the club in September 2009, his previous one being a five year deal back in December 2012 and it shows his commitment to the club. Sean McCarthy has also extended and apart from being an instrumental team member, we are sure he will progress another level as he matures and develops.
Davie Allan has proved to be a match-winner on numerous occasions and must be the one of the fastest players in the Highland League, his pace on the wings and through the middle is phenomenal.
Steven Anderson has been a fan-favourite since we signed him from Lybster FC in 2014, he is our joint top goal scorer so far this term, level with Sam on 15 strikes and well on the way to surpassing the 20 goals he scored for us last season.
Right-back Danny Mackay has extended his contract until the end of the 2019/20 season and given that level of commitment it looks like we will see him at Harmsworth Park for many a year to come."
