Graham and Pollock in swap deal

Brora have signed Scott Graham from Forres, with Alan Pollock going the other way.

Graham decided to return to Brora for family reasons.

Pollock is set to make his debut for Forres against Strathspey tonight.

The Mechanics will be without Scott Moore, Kyle Scott, Jordan Wardrope and Fraser Forbes.

Strathspey trio Adam Macleod, Jack Maley and James Mackay are unavailable.

MacDonald and Munro take over at Rothes

Rothes have named Steven MacDonald as manager.

MacDonald was former caretaker boss at Brora.

He will be assisted by Grant Munro. Munro is former player-manager at Brora.

Rothes have given the duo three-and-a-half year contracts.

Former Inverness Caley Thistle defender Munro intends to play for the Speysiders.

MacDonald replaces Fraser Bremner, who was dismissed as Rothes manager last month.

Baxter heading to Australia

Liam Baxter may have played his last game for Forres as he nears a move to Australia.

The striker scored in last Saturday's 4-2 win at Clach.

Baxter has been given the chance to move Down Under with Goulburn Valley Suns.

The former Buckie man is just waiting for confirmation on the move to Shepparton.

If everything is finalised this week then he will leave Forres and the game at Clach will have been his last for the Can-Cans.

Forres boss Charlie Rowley said: "It looks like Liam is going to take the opportunity to continue playing football in Australia.

“If that is the case it could be months or it could be years until he returns. If he does come back then we have an agreement to re-sign him."
